Alex Rezcallah M.Ed., LCMHC, TSAC-F

Alex is a licensed psychotherapist who has been in the mental health field for more than 14 years. Having worked with hundreds of high risk clients, he understands the need for safety measures and has the experience to help others learn to stay safe.

Alex has been training in martial arts and self defense for 16 years. He travels to Japan for training directly from the source and trains with a variety of teachers here in the US.  Alex has helped train law enforcement, military, first responders, and life guards. He taught martial arts & self defense at North Carolina State University from 2010-2014.  He has also assisted in teaching self-defense classes for women, and those with physical & mental disabilities. He holds a 3rd degree blackbelt from the Bujinkan in Noda, Japan and a self defense instructor certification from Sentinel International. 

Alex is also a Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator (TSAC-F) with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He saw the importance of fitness for his clients to live a fuller life and went throught the certification process.

Alex is a husband and father. Several of his family members work in hospitals and other healthcare settings. He has helped them learn to stay safe.

Alex is also a published researcher in the fields of psychology and counseling. Understanding the importance of seeking “Best Practices”, he strives to bring you the most effective & ethical training available.
